Hello. Welcome to stopstart - an exercise to regain intention in our lives. A few years ago I realised:

I was stuck in habits that wasted my time and my energy.

Personally I could spend hours a day scrolling shorts, I would get into weird shopping spells, and I noticed getting stuck in the same "blame others for my situation" thinking.

I was not doing things that I KNEW I really wanted to be doing.

My values and ideas remained theory, "wouldn't it be nice if..." I had a list of things I would like to do more of, but nothing to show for it.

I started to realise I wasn't just fighting my own demons.

The attention economy has billions invested in keeping me scrolling, unhealthy, and unsatisfied. You know who the economy doesn't need? A happy gal or guy who is enthusiastic about the life they are building themselves...

I realised I needed to do something to get off my feeds and start actually doing my life my way. StopStart is a simple paper-based exercise that I developed, based on years of research, that helped me claim back some of my attention. I share it here in the hope that it can help you too. No videos (I find those youtube videos about how to live life the most sadly ironic), no apps to download, just you, some paper and time.

Stop scrolling, Start living.
